Roman Rosso and Wilson Moreyra claimed victory at the 2018 Longines Gran Premio Latinoamericano

Yesterday, the Hipodromo Nacional de Maroñas hosted the 2018 Longines Gran Premio Latinoamericano, of which the Swiss watch brand is the proud Title Partner and the Official Timekeeper. The feature race of this event, the most important international Group 1 horse race in Latin America, was claimed by Roman Rosso ridden by Wilson Moreyra.

The brand also added to the glamour of the event by hosting its Longines Prize for Elegance, which celebrates the lady and the man who will have distinguished themselves by the elegance of their outfit. As the Official Watch of the event, Longines highlighted the Conquest V.H.P. “Very High Precision”. This timepiece represents a new achievement in the field of quartz, combining great precision, high technicality and a sporty look, marked by the brand’s unique elegance. On the occasion of the event, the Swiss watch brand and the Organización Latinoamericana de Fomento del Pura Sangre de Carrera (OSAF) proudly announced the renewal of their partnership.
 

This weekend, Roman Rosso ridden by Wilson Moreyra won the highlight race of the 2018 Longines Gran Premio Latinoamericano. The Longines Cup Clásico Diana was claimed by Julio Méndez on Sexy Reasons. As the Official Partner of the Organización Latinoamericana de Fomento del Pura Sangre de Carrera (OSAF), Longines is proud to have timed all the races of the Longines Gran Premio Latinoamericano in Montevideo, Uruguay. During the race day, not only performance was rewarded by the Swiss watch brand, but also elegance, as Longines hosted its famous Longines Prize for Elegance, which crowned the lady and the man representing best the value dear to the winged hourglass brand. Both of them were presented with Longines watches.
