One Week Of Captivating Competitions And Exceptional Performances At The Longines FEI European Championships 2019

From 19 to 25 August, the city of Rotterdam (NL) hosted the Longines FEI European Championships 2019, bringing together the best European riders and horses in the disciplines of Jumping, Dressage and Para-Dressage. As the Title Partner of this much-awaited rendezvous, Longines was delighted to celebrate the performances of great athletes, alongside its Ambassadors of Elegance, Dressage champion Sönke Rothenberger, as well as sports legend Stefanie Graf. The winged hourglass brand was also proud to highlight the Official Watch of the event, a blue model from its famous HydroConquest collection.

As part of its long-lasting commitment to equestrian sports, the Swiss watch brand Longines was proud to take part in the Longines FEI European Championships 2019, held from 19 to 25 August in Rotterdam (NL). As per the previous edition held in Gothenburg (SE) in 2017, Longines was honoured to be the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of this year’s event, bringing together the best European riders and horses in the disciplines of Jumping, Dressage and Para-Dressage.
 

The brand was pleased to grant the winners in the different disciplines with elegant timepieces as a reward for their remarkable performances. Among these great achievements, Longines Ambassador of Elegance, Sönke Rothenberger, and the German team captured the victory in the Longines FEI Dressage European Championship on Tuesday. On Friday, the Belgian Show Jumping team won the gold medal in the Longines FEI Jumping European Championship. Longines also celebrated the victory of Isabell Werth in the Dressage Grand Prix Freestyle, as well as the win of team Netherlands in the Para-Dressage team competitions, on Saturday. The following day, Swiss rider Martin Fuchs took brilliant victory in the Individual Jumping competition, and received an elegant watch from the hands of Longines Ambassador of Elegance and sport’s legend, Stefanie Graf, invited by the brand on that special occasion.
 

On Saturday, Longines and the FEI were also delighted to host Sönke Rothenberger, as well as elegant riders Matt Harnacke, Anne Meulendijks, Lotte Meulendijks, This Esme and Olivia Towers for a Meet & Greet in the Longines Boutique located at the venue.
 

During this thrilling week of competitions, Longines was pleased to highlight the Official Watch of the event, a blue model from the HydroConquest collection. Highly technical and innovative ceramic has been added to the bezel of the new HydroConquest models. Available in grey, black or blue, this scratch-resistant insert matches the colour of the dial, ties together the fully modernized design and sporty silhouette of this collection.
