This ultimate battle was rounded off by the victory of Ben Maher on Explosion W who became the champion amongst the champions. Indeed, the winners of each 2019 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix leg won their tickets throughout the year to compete in this recent not-to-be missed event of the show jumping calendar. Over the weekend, spectators had the opportunity to discover the Official Watch of the event: a new model from Longines’ emblematic line, The Longines Master Collection. On Saturday, English rider Ben Maher on Explosion W faced down phenomenal pressure to claim the weekend’s most prestigious competition, the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, and thus becoming the champion amongst the champions. Irish rider Darragh Kenny on Balou du Reventon and Swiss rider Martin Fuchs on Clooney 51 secured second and third place respectively. In recognition of their great performances, they were granted elegant Longines timepieces from the hands of Charles Villoz, Longines Vice President of Sales.
