The 2019 season of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ series came to an end today with the much-awaited Final held at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, Spain.

As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the whole series, the Swiss watchmaking brand Longines was delighted to time the victory of Team Ireland in the grand Final, which beautifully ended several months of intense preparation and thrilling competitions across Europe, USA, Canada and UAE. The podium was completed by Team Belgium and Team Sweden. On Saturday night, the brand had the pleasure to welcome its Ambassador of Elegance and Australian actor Simon Baker, who attended the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Final - Challenge Cup, won by Team Spain on home soil. Longines was delighted to grant the winning teams' members with elegant timepieces.
 

As the FEI's Top Partner, the Swiss watchmaking brand Longines was proud to participate in the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Final, which offered four days of breathtaking competitions held at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona. In Its quality of Official Timekeeper, Longines timed the great victory of Team Ireland comprised of Peter Moloney on Chianti's Champion, Paul O’Shea on Skara Glen's Machu Picchu, Darragh Kenny on Balou du Reventon and Cian O’Connor on PSD Final. Belgium’s representatives took the second place followed by Team Sweden. This competition marked the end of an exciting 2019 season made up of fourteen legs across Europe, USA, Canada and UAE, during which the teams earned the qualifying points to get their tickets for the grand Final.
 

On the occasion of this world-class event, Longines was delighted to welcome a very special guest, its Ambassador of Elegance Simon Baker who took part in a show jumping event for the very first time. He witnessed the sports achievements of Team Spain made up Alberto Marquez Galobardes on Ucello Massuere, Eduardo Alvarez Aznar on Rokfeller de Pleville Bois Margot, Santiago Nunez Riva on Valentino de Hus Z and Sergio Alvarez Moya on Jet Run, who jumped to victory in front of an euphoric crowd in the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Final - Challenge Cup. Team Netherlands secured second place ahead of the Brazilian representatives.
 

Over the weekend, the spectators had the opportunity to discover the Official Watch of the event, a model from the iconic HydroConquest collection. This line combines classic elegance and watchmaking excellence, both distinguishing hallmarks of the winged hourglass brand. Drawing inspiration from the fascinating world of water sports, the pieces from this collection display a bezel enhanced by a ceramic coloured insert, which matches the colour of the dial and brings them a modernized design and sporty silhouette.
