This year the most important international Group 1 horse race in Latin America will take place in the Hipódromo de Gavea, in Rio de Janeiro, on 12 March. The 2016 Longines Gran Premio Latinoamericano will take place in the Hipódromo de Gavea, in Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, on 12 March. This itinerant competition is organized by the Organización Latinoamericana de Fomento del Pura Sangre de Carrera (OSAF), every year in a different country of the subcontinent.
